Colleagues,
This is the
second announcement of the 6th Edition of the biannual European
Conference-Workshop “Nonlinear Maps and
Their Applications” (NOMA-2017 )
which will be held on June 28-30, 2017 at the National Research Lobachevsky
State University of Nizhni Novgorod
(Nizhni Novgorod, Russia).
The
Conference is organized by the Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian
Academy of Sciences together with the Institute of Information Technologies,
Mathematics and Mechanics of the Nizhni Novgorod State University.
The following topics will be presented in the
framework of the Conference: Topological, Differential, Ergodic Aspects of
Theory of Nonlinear Maps (both Finitely Dimensional and Infinitely Dimensional),
Bifurcations and Applications of Nonlinear Maps. These are traditional topics
of Nizhni Novgorod and Moscow
Mathematical Schools.
We invite you and members of your group (including
students and PhD students) to participate in this Conference.
If you would like to participate in the Conference,
please, register at the website http://www.noma2017.unn.ru. The
deadline for the registration and the presentation of abstracts is February 17, 2017. We need your registration and presentation of
abstracts for submitting our grant request to the Russian Foundation for Basic
Research.
Recommended volume of abstracts is 2 pages. You will
be notified about the acceptance of your abstracts on March 5, 2017.
Please, inform us via e-mail about your wish to
present a paper (please give the title of your proposed paper) in one of the
two Journals: Dynamical and Control Systems
or Regular and Chaotic Dynamics.
The
Conference fee is 300 euros for foreign participants and 6 000 rubles for Russian participants. Students and PhD students are exempt from paying the Conference fee. Conference
fees cover the publication of abstracts, coffee breaks, lunches and other
Conference expenses.
You will be informed about the procedure for the
payment of the Conference fee later.
Conference participants will stay at the hotel “Oka” (700
meters from the University).
